Very interesting experience. Learned a lot about various gems both precious and semiprecious. The tour is a must; it's offered in Spanish, English, and French.

Fun tour that gives a history of Bolivian silver, gold and gem stone mining. Tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and explained how all the different gem stones formed in the geological formations as well as the history of silver and gems in local dress.

It's quite a small museum, but offers interesting history and information about the area and mining industry in the country. The entrance fee is 25 bol and includes a guided tour, which lasts about 45 minutes. English tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely go for this when in Sucre!
