  I just want to warn travellers, especially foreigners, that security here is very poor. I was robbed on a bus to La Paz by a team of thieves. Keep your bags between your knees on the bus. Be wary of any distractions. Do not let your guard down even if you feel safer once you have passed through the barrier to the platforms and on to the bus.

  It is croweded, dirty. But for buses, this is the only one acceptable; that connects to La Paz, Santa Cruz and other main cities in Bolivia.

  Crowdy and busy bus terminal. There are dozens of bus companies selling tickets. Be very careful of personal belongings here. Surrounding area is unsafe after dark.
