  Delicious traditional Bolivian snack in a lovely setting. If you don’t speak Spanish then here is some advice for how you order
  
  When you enter the restaurant there will be a man with a cash machine on the right - order and pay from him.
  
  Then if you want it as a takeaway then walk straight ahead and queue at the counter - this seemed to take longer when we went in the morning.
  
  If you want to eat in then find a table and leave your receipt on the table and a waiter will pick it up and bring you your food.

  Yummy saltenas in a beautiful venue! I'm staying in Sucre for my Spanish course and this is the place I go every morning for breakfast!
  
  Try the Saltena de Caldo, and eat with a spoon so you won't waste the tasty gravy that is inside.

  This place sucks, I can't understand why it reviews so highly. Went a few times because was told/read it was a must visit place in Sucre. Went around lunch time on a few occasions and was told by rude staff that they'd run out of salteñas. Ok? So kept going back and was finally served dry pastries with liquid filling that ended up spilling out onto out plates. Definitely not worth the hype. Go to Los Abuelos instead.

  The salteñas are really yummy. I would prefer them without sugar, especially when they contain meat or cheese, but they really love sugar in Bolivia.
  The only thing that I really miss in this place is the possibility to get a coffee. They have only soft drinks.
