As free Tours are illegal in Bolivia, this is basically your free tour, although you have to pay some Tiny amount of money. Reservation is not mandatory.
Excellent and informative. Lovely guide David was very helpful and knowledgeable. Highly recommended!
Really good tour that shows a lot of the street life in Bolivia. Daniel, one of our guides, was excellent! The guides talk at length at each stop - It would be nice to cover a little more ground with slightly less commentary in places.
Great tour with Chris and Berto. Lots of funny stories and great information. Well worth going on when you arrive in la paz
This is the first walking tour I have paid for. They explain they have to charge $3 due to legal reasons but it is a very minimal amount and I did leave extra tip as well at the end as it was so good!!! Chris and Marian took us on this epic tour around La Paz. We saw the prison (do not go inside it!! Its very dangerous) but they told us facinating stories, then we went to the witches market and inside some of the local markets and they showed us where to buy the best fruit juice and gave us a bit of free time to wander around. Ended in a lovely little bar near the centre with a complimtary shot of the local drink. We ended up staying after for an hour chatting about history and the local political situation. Very informative and fun. I would recommend it if you are in La Paz.
Seriously such great Value ! Very informative Max was respectful and clear in his communication in so many truely suprising areas of history. His humor and love of country shows, displaying a talented ability with tourist group dynamics. Really well worth the experience. Dont miss out on this informative tour. Congratulations Red Cap.
Excellent tour, took about three hours and covered a lot of ground. Denise and Daniel were great guides and I learnt a lot about la Paz quickly. (20bs +tip!)
Highly recommended! Lovely guides (Marisol and Chris in my case)
Unfortunately, due to a lot of agencies being upset at the free walking tour, the government has banned free walking tours entirely.
The tour gets together at Plaza San Pedro at 11am.
Luckily, the walking tour is worth every penny (20 Bolivianos).
You don't visit too much of the city but the areas you do visit are interesting and useful throughout your stay in La Paz.
The history is what really excels here, so much history is divulged and it's all incredibly exciting!!
Both my guides (Denise and Marisol) were excellent and informative, I would highly recommend this tour to anyone.
Really nice, you'll learn a lot about the culture and history of Bolivia, with local guides in English or Spanish. It was really worth it.
Really fun and knowledge guide! Took you to all the spots through the markets to get cheap refreshments. Tour starts at 11am and 2pm and lasts about 3 hours finishing in the sol and luna restaurant. Well worth it, just shame it isn't free anymore. Cost 20 BOB plus tips.
Great Tours with local guides that speak excellent English! The best city tour I've ever been on and the other tours are great too. A must do when you are in La Paz!
Really good guides, who nicely mix facts, stories and humour together to create one of the most enjoyable walking tours I've done. It really helped me appreciate La Paz more.
Very fun, almost free Tour through La Paz! You can feel that the guides love what they do.
Very cool guide, they will bring You around the main area, explain you things about some tradition and politic situation. I recommend it :)
