What an incredible national park!! The only way in is by longboat and the jungle inside is like something out of the lost world! Giant vines, thick vegetation, hundreds of butterflies and unique insects! We ate piranha at dinner one night! Crazy! 😊👍
Everything looks cheaply made, quite sad that this country isn't this great
The camp is really basic.
Jungle is fantastic but you need at least a 5 days tour to get the real experience.
What an amazing experience back in 2014! We stayed at the parque at Chalalan Ecolodge run by locals who grew up in the park, the lodge is ecofriendly. We had our own personal tour guide, Nelson. What can I say about Nelson - very knowledgable and friendly. In fact, the entire staff at the lodge were very friendly.
Madidi is one of the most biodiverse places on earth. During our jungle walk we got to see amazing wildlife (monkeys, snakes, frogs, birds, wild pigs, etc.) and a diversity of flora.
A must experience to see the Amazon jungle during our hikes, while supporting the local economy. The accomodation was amazing, and the food delicious.
I loved that parc, but you need to go deeper into the Parc with the help of the natives.
Lovely
Too many jaguars and spiders, the place isn't for the weak and I'm weak, so 2 stars.
Along with Manu and Congo, one of the most biodiverse and important natural habitats on earth.
