A very interesting project. The take care of trafficked animals. Many wild species that were being mistreated by their owners. They are mostly volunteer run. They also have a vetenarian working there. Definitely worth a visit.

Animal rescue that offers a tour by volunteers, explaining you the story behind every animal, about the exotic pet trade and its effects on wildlife. Totally recommended, especially for kids. It aims visitors to help preserve threatened biodiversity. You can have lunch there and buy some souvenirs to support this place.

I STRONGLY suggest visiting here if you are in Cochabamba. There are so many different types of birds!!! Monkeys, Turtles, Fox, Flamingos, Deer, Ducks, Peacocks, andddd so many other animals. This is a beautiful place!!!! I sincerely suggest visiting! Such a beautiful time here. Had an amazing morning today while visiting. So many different types of animals. Definitely a hidden gem!! In absolute love 💗💞💗💞💗💞

Refugio de animales silvestres que han sido rescatados del tráfico ilegal. Se realizan visitas guiadas en las cuales se cuentan las historias de algunos de estos animales. Hay mayormente aves pero también hay otros animales. Ofrecen comida y bebidas para darse un descanso del recorrido y preparan un delicioso y suculento Pique Macho.

So many birds! This is a rescue so they have a lot of unwanted pets or animals that were abused so a few look a little rough but you can tell the staff is very knowledgeable and are giving the animals the best possible care with the resources they have. Some are a little crowded but they are in process of constructing better aviaries. Take to tour or you will miss a lot.
