  You'd think the ruins would be more impressive than the museums itself but no. There's not lot to see un site. Yet, the "museo lítico" was amazing

  The history of this place is just amazing, the Tiwanaku civilization was so amazingly developed after the Inca empire grew, and you can see that and feel it while visiting this archaeological place. Such a pity that so much of it is still buried, and a lot of status, bricks and other ruins are just abandoned without any care.

  The only disappointing thing about all of this is that they have too little information about what we're looking at. Besides that, this is one of my favorite archeological sites in the world. I've been here 8 years ago and came back now. Unfortunately, the problems of then are still the problems of now. Come on, Bolivia, this place deserves better.

  It's dark inside, which is probably meant to preserve the enormous monolith inside, but it is majestic and imposing and wonderful.

  Exceptional historic site with a wealth of interesting archeological monuments. A bit curious with the ongoing rebuilding and digging going on at the site. Let's hope it is taken well and proper care of for the future!
