Your typical big-company "we'll hide behind terms and conditions and phone numbers we don't publish on our website and we'll transfer your call to a desk that never answers" kind of behaviour.
We got a travel voucher for an inconvenience during a flight and in the terms and conditions it says that we could exchange it for money, then when we went to the Latam office, they denied us. Then they promised to get in touch with a representative higher up the hierarchy and get back to us, but of course they never called.
When I tried calling them just now, I first needed to look their office number for La Paz up through google, as they didn't supply it on their website, then was run through the automated reception and transfer by receptionist mill and in the end was disconnected when noone answered at the desk we ended up on
In short: don't be expecting any kind of refund or payment of damages by Latam if some inconvenience happens on your flight.
