  Amazing animal sanctuary. You can volunteer with them while enjoying a good weather. The place is very close to Coroico town and you can be part of exiting activities around. It's a must visit place after cycling on the death road.

  Awesome! An animal refuge that takes great care for the animals. You can see birds, monkeys, alligators, bears. The guides are very good and care for the animals.

  Awesome animal sanctuary! Great place to stay or volunteer if you love animals! There is a wide variety of animals, but the feature has to be the large number of monkeys. Staying or volunteering helps support a really great cause: a home for the animal victims of the black market. The owners and staff are very friendly and accommodating, and the location, while out of the way, is really excellent!

  We were told that we could see animals in their natural surroundings, monkeys would jump on us etc. The reality was that first we had to wait half hour before someone took care of us. Then the "tour" began (we were asked to pay $30 for me and my small son).
  
  All was put in cages, we were kept only within tunnels, metal fences etc. all the time. I felt like being guided into some heavy prison (just the guards with guns were missing). We have seen few birds from outside the fence, tortoise and few monkeys. That was all. I really did not understand why we were asked not to take anything with us , not even in the pockets, so that the monkeys do not fetch it. How could they, unless they jump over the metal fence ? Very strange.
  
  Overall - total waste of time and money. I really regret we went there. Any decent zoo provides 100 times better experience (and I don't like zoos)

  What an amazing experience. The surrounding jungle and mountains are beautiful, but the service provided here to animals brought from all over Bolivia is a beautiful thing. The monkeys, parrots, turtles, caiman, etc. are well cared for by loving people. It was fun for us to see them in their habitat.
