Great food. Fun ambiance. Reservation suggested! Bolivian take on French food. A bit confusing that they're part of the French association of Bolivia but don't speak French..but worth a visit!
Very historic. Cozy. Good food
Had the Menu of the day. Mostly OK, except the crepe desert was cold and dry, like it had been left out for a while.
It's definitely cheap. But the food was great. You should try!
Why does this resturant has this good review?
Okay, the dishes look very professional made, the waitress was also friendly and its location looks inviting (even if they use ugly with light).
But why on earth would a restaurant use canned pineapple and other canned fruits when its location is RIGHT NEXT to the Central Market?
The fruit juice you get is full of sugar and the restaurants pasta isn't homemade.
And whats with that vegetarian restaurant talking? You can get two maybe three dishes without meat, pasta. Even the salads have meat in it.
This restaurant is good but for me it looks like we have here an overrated google resturant
Great value! The menu of the day is 50bob, but it's 4 courses. One of the best food we ate in Sucre.
Nice atmosphere. Waiters very quick to help. Food was great. Has the type of service and food a foreigner would appreciate!
Excellent food in the French style restaurant La Taverne. The lunch is incredibly tasty. For 50 Bolivianos you will be able to enjoy an excellent 4 courses menu.
One of the best foods in Sucre as far as I know.
And the internet connection is quite fast (for Bolivian circumstances) during lunch time.
Very good food, however the Potosi branch has superior quality.
