Calm and relaxing place, the sunset is just amazing, perfect to look the stars at night. 2 days is perfect to stay there and get to know the north and South part of the island.

The Police are investigating the murder and alleged rape of a woman of Korean nationality whose remains were found in the town of Challa, a community located on Isla del Sol, an hour and a half from the Copacabana sanctuary in the department of La Paz.

Amazing place. The sunset is astonished, but be careful the hotels dont always have warm showers (they will tell you they have but not always) It is a perfect place to camp 2 or three days.

Isla del Sol is a small, but beautifull Island. I have only spend the afternoon there and walked around in the south area, so keep this in mind. The south part offers some small ruines to check out, and it is a easy area to hike. From the higher part you get an amazing view on lake Titicaca. The boat ride to and from the island is also very nice and gives good opportunities for taking pictures.
