Our room was absolutely beautiful and had a great view of lake Titicaca! The bed was comfortable and we had a nice shower and large bath tub in our room. The fireplace was set up for us and extra wood was available. They had tea and coffee in our room, which we really enjoyed. The court yard has alpacas that you can feed. The food is free at the front desk and there were nice hammocks all over the property, which we enjoyed paying in. The check in was easy and the staff was nice. The was from the main street is uphill, but it was not very far off the main road. I would absolutely recommend staying here! Our beautiful suite was only $52 USD and I felt it was worth the money. I was sad we only stayed 1 night.

great option if you want to have a cozy and clean base, rooms are clean and pretty, common room has a wooden stove to warm you up and a hottub is avail. There is a great view because its in the hill and has a pretty garden to chill at. Marcelo and Martin at the reception are very attentive and super helpful, even gave me coca leaves and anti-high-altitude pills. It's just three blocks fromt the plaza where most buses leave you, so don't worry about a hike up, this place is definitely worth it. Room with shared bathroom was 17$.

Remember, it's almost 4000m above sea level. And the hotel is on the middle of a steep hill. It's really hard to get to the hotel if you took off your bus near the White Anchor monument. I and my wife had to rest for almost 10 times to get there. But the hotel is really beautiful and also raise three alpacas.

Great place to stay. Excellent rooms with nice beds and bathroom, not to mention stunning views of the lake from the rooms. The staff provided space heaters for the room, which was very nice, as it did get rather cold at night. Nice common areas for hanging out, meeting and chatting with other travelers. The on-site restaurant was also excellent, in fact, we didn’t even eat a single meal elsewhere. The staff was also very helpful for getting information regarding tours of the lake and the islands. All in all, highly recommended. 3 friendly alpacas (daddy+mommy+baby) were an added bonus.

I loved this place. Stayed only for one night but wish I'd have done my reasearch before since it was such a pleasant stay. I had a very affordable single room with bathroom and was able to use all the amenities (big jacuzzy, living room full of instruments with free coffee and tea, hammocks next to pretty baby alpacas, etc).
I had the pleasure of talking for a very long time with Leo, who works there. We talked long about politics in Bolivia and gave me a interesting point of view of the entire situation over there. Totally worth it.

Beautiful property perched on the hill with a great view of lake Titicaca. Perfect for sunset views, rooms are clean, food at the restaurant is delicious and/or you can cook in the common kitchen. There are many cozy touches throughout the property: hammocks, a fireplace lit every night, friendly Alpacas on the property that you can feed etc. The staff was VERY professional and cordial. You will want to stay more than one night, enjoy the views and relax.

Great views over the bay, and one of the better places we stayed in South America, probably the best place we stayed in Bolivia. Up on a hill, so the walk is tough at altitude, as is starting a fire in the evening due to lack of o2.very good and would return

Professional and cozy dining experience.
We dined at the restaurant several nights. A lovely, laid back atmosphere, relatively high cost but quite good food. We enjoyed the fillet, the chicken supreme was a fried disappointment, and the pancake desserts are crepes which were quite good.
I only took a photo of the fried banana because everything else I was too busy enjoying eating.

This place is absolutely amazing! Hot tubbing with a sunset view while hanging with a friendly Llama. The restaurant is delicious too, and the staff is simply incredible!!!

One flaw is our bathroom in room 3 smells pretty bad, but I don't think that's an easy fix, sewage is pretty rough in Bolivia in general so I forgive them. Everything else made up for the one flaw.

This is a great place. Very friendly staff. Nice lounge with a nightly wood burning fire. Guest kitchen. Lovely gardens. Very decent WiFi throughout the compound. Excellent hot water all the time, both in showers and sink faucets. Space heaters, and hot water bottle for those extra cold nights. In house restaurant with quality food. Fair prices for the services provided. Great experience.

Very clean and well equipped Hostel. The owner and the staff are enredibly nice. I would absolutely recommend staying there. Also it has a very good price.

Expensive but really enjoyed the stay. We stayed in a suite and a room. The suite was great, had a little kitchenette with a stove for a fire in the evening. There is also a nice communal kitchen, nice gardens and great views. Pricey but worth it for a few nights.

Fantastic place! A real jewel in Copacabana. Great service, good food (restaurant upstairs), great places to "hang out". Mostly good WiFi connection (depending on the day). You simply have to get used to the Bolivian cold jicks! Very warm showers though at the "hostal" which actually is more like a hotel. Gote good infos for Isla del Sol itinerary

Great place with very helpful staff, wonderful rooms, and amazing views. The check-in policy makes it really hard with only a 3 hour window check out is 11 am and you must be there by 2 pm or you lose your room. Also, got food poisoning from the restaurant and was really sick for a few days.
