I just want to write a personale thanks to our male waiter. We were a group of 9 people eating a 10 course meal. The food was delicious (some of the best I’ve ever had), unfortunately I wasn’t able to eat all of it because I fell suddenly sick (not because of the food, I had been feeling bad all day). Our waiter was so helpful and kind. He was very quick to recognise how I was feeling, and called a taxi. While I was waiting for the taxi, I was given a nice cup of tea and seated in a comfortable sofa. I was really grateful. A special thanks to him. I didn’t even have to pay full price, since I only got half of the meals.

Wow! We had the 18 course tasting menu and it was phenomenal. Interesting and delicious, and a very fun dining experience. Service was excellent and staff very friendly. Mocktails were fantastic too. Great night.

Best restaurant in town, expensive but the food is incredible. Reservation is needed. Explanations in Spanish and English. Take the menu Bolivia and the wine-arrangement and dine for four amazing hours. Non-alcohol arrangement is just as brilliant. If Noma in Copenhagen is out of your league, this is the way a Noma-chef creates beautiful dishes with Bolivian products. A night to remember.

This restaurant started the gastronomical experience in Bolivia and has amazing food each course is a treat. The bar is also amazing as well the bread. In top of that they help become excellent chefs to empoverished El Alto teens. Amazing place.

Excellent restaurant, truly the finest in Bolivia. We arrived early and the wait staff was very friendly, helpful, and multilingual. Each dish we tried (and it seemed close to 17) was incredible and you could tell the cooks took pride in their work and their national cuisine. Highly recommended.

Amazing restaurant by Claus Meyer, the founder of Noma in Copenhagen (voted the worlds best restaurant 3 consecutive years).

Gustu shows not only the potential of what is possible with food, but what is possible for Bolivia. Employing mostly local Bolivians and only using Bolivian ingredients, Gustu provides a world class fine dining experience.

We tried the eight course Bolivian tasting menu with beverage pairings. It starts with a series of snacks before getting into the main eight courses. The unique flavors, beautiful presentations, superb pairings and cozy ambience were unlike anything I have had before.

If you're in La Paz, this is a restaurant that you cannot miss.

Service: The curly haired over-familiar waiter/manager (male) insisted on recommending a drink, but it turned out to be completely different for to how he described. I complained to the waitress and instead of coming to apologise himself, another girl from the bar came with a new drink to say, well this is the driest drink we have, and walked away. Both of these people spoke perfect English, so the lack of fluency is not an excuse. I've never had such bad service in a nice restaurant, which they are trying to be. Maybe some of them should go and work in a real restaurant in London or NY so they know how it's done. Also, bread is placed on the left and drink on the right, not the other way round.

Food: the food was really not tasty which is why I give it one star. We had 2 starters and 2 mains, which were all bland or over cooked. They are trying to be inventive but they forget to make the food tasty. We had Bolivian cuisine over the last few days and today's meal was by far the worst. The only redeeming feature were the breads.

So, I would stay away. If you're expecting some culinary genius like those in Lima, you'd be very disappointed.

The experimental 7 course meal with alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks was very inventive and one of the more unique food experiences. While the taste of most of the food does not rank in my category of favorites I appreciate the attempt to focus only on procurement of ingredients from Bolivia.

Even though the concept and decorations are refreshing, I don't think the food lives up to the expectations of being one of the best restaurants worldwide. We got a lunch menu, so my review is not based on their afternoon menu. The drinks were super delicious and creative. The pie de lemon as desert was above expectations.
You feel how the ingredients and menus are honouring the Bolivian culture without being average. It's nice to have been there, but I don't expect to go back.

The finest in Bolivia. No other restaurant in the country may give you the experience of Gustu #14 in Latam by the Wold Best of Restaurant Magazine. For fine dinning lovers this is a place worth travelling to enjoy.
