Definitely worth a visit. One of the nicest parks in Santa Cruz. Great for a swim. Go early to take advantage of the whole day. Massive bird cage, monkeys, butterflies, lizards, etc.

Amazing experience. You must understand, the people who did this, did it in a very little space (compared to natural reserves) but they did it with an actual conviction of a human - nature coexistence. They want you to try it, first hand; they want you to be convinced that this option (the coexistence) is possible. Although the space is small, the variety of animals is not so extensive your journey (25 mins max from the city) will worth every minute and every penny a little space of heaven to relax and enjoy.
    Then the journey begin
You arrive at 10 or 11 am, then, as an advice, enjoy the pools or the kayak on the lake, do all the activities on water that you want (pools, waterfall, kayaking on a lake, pool with sand). Then, you must eat. Enjoy the buffet on the restaurant (many delicious dishes to taste). Be delighted with the attention and the food.
From this point onwards is a joy for the sight. Do the trekking path to the butterfly sanctuary were you will experience the silence of the jungle, surrounded by the most amazing butterflies. Then take a detour to the birds sanctuary, where you can have a blast with all kind of parrots and peacocks.
I’m here you can feel what a bird feels from the balcony that stands as much as 35 mts from the ground, enough to have an amazing view of Santa Cruz.
Then slow down, enjoy the tranquil life of the tortoise and see what is like a normal day in their natural habitat.
Sadly, the journey is close to an end, but you can be amazed once more with the marsh. Here, from a prudent distance, you will see capivaras, ñandú and antas; all topical animals of the region.
Come, visit this place, be amazed by the facilities (kind of 5 star hotel) and be convinced of the idea that nature and humans can coexist.

    You won’t regret anything

One more thing it is a resort!! I haven’t spent the night, but I heard it is good!

Great place, but they stop serving food from 5pm-8pm that’s a huge problem when your with a family and they don’t let you bring food inside.

Any world-class resort wouldn’t close the kitchen to hungry guests.

As always, Guembe is by far the best place out of the city but not without internet as all of the service carriers have good signal here. Food and drinks worth their price.
All of its swimming pools clean and big enough to relax and have fun.
    Definitely recommended.
