  Green House hostel is one of my favorite spots in La Paz. The staff is super friendly. One night that I stayed there the staff cooked a delicious T-bone steak dinner for only 38bs. Everything is kept quite clean and the kitchen is very nice, but can get crowded. Sopocachi is a super nice area to stay that is way more chill than the center of the city, but still has some decent night life. Beds are comfy as well.

  Staff are super friendly, there is a big communal area great for meeting travellers, cooking and relaxing. The area is safe and great transport links into town and the cable car. I would highly recommend and would stay again! Ed

  Great hostel. We really enjoyed our stay here. We were keen to be away from the madness of central la Paz and this was a great decision. The owner Sergio was very helpful and acted as our local guide. Lovely bread for breakfast, good kitchen facilities and easy to walk to lots of places. Highly recommend.

  Super friendly and helpful staff, definitely a bonus star for that! Not the quietest place, but pretty much what I expected from a hostel such as this. The other negative is the shared bathrooms are a little odd You have to walk through the shower to get to the toilet. Other good things: Delicious bread for breakfast!! And a nice kitchen facility for making your own meals, with a decent grocery store a block away. Sopacachi is definitely more chill than central La Paz, imo.

  Ótimo hostel, tranquilo e próximo do teleférico, barato e está localizado a cerca de 2,5 km do mercado das bruxas, logo, é fácil chegar a pé. E os donos são muito simpáticos.

  Nice and quiet hostel in Sopicachi neighbourhood of La Paz. The owner is a good English speaking and super friendly guy. The hostel is a bit old and old fashioned but definitely a good place to escape the busyness of La Paz

  Super helpful staff although the location is a bit far from the center. The showers are probably the best warm showers I found in Bolivia!
