This airport is generally well-run, but recently I've seen a drastic and disturbing change in the morale and productivity of the staff here. This recent occurrence was the most troubling.

I was just about to board the plane when this absolutely pungent smell blindsided me. It came from nowhere. I didn't know what to do. I started gagging, I didn't know how to react. It was the same smell I smelled in El Trompillo. I said I'd never smelled anything like it since. I was dead wrong.

Just great because of the view when you fly to or away from El Alto.

Very well organized, but the covid safety measures could be better when entering the airport by checking temperatures and sanitizing the hands as most big business do in Bolivia

Lots of space, easy to navigate. Plenty of sanitary controls for the Covid.

    the worst of the worst.
someone should teach the policemen working in the airport how to shower and use soap and toothpaste.
be careful at the passport control because sometimes immigration officers stamp the passport with the wrong date, they are not even able to use stamps.

The airport is bad. It is small, and the restrooms are disgusting. They also had to smell the painting my aunt bought for some reason. It is horrible and the staff are weird.

New modern, clean, food & beverage options, duty free (careful with the coca items if you're going back to the US). Hands down 1000X better than LaGuardia in NYC.

With ample room for seating, several working and loading stations, this airport is definitely better than many of its bigger counterparts in Europe

The airport is ok, doesn't have much downside but it is small and the restrooms are awfully disgusting; but other than that it is good

Basic airport. Has the basic facilities. Simple and clean. Decently organised. What more can you ask for. Few places offering decent WiFi as well.

Coming late evening from a long lasting flight from Miami, I landed here.
A bus took me down to the city La Paz.
The airport is on the plateau level of Lago Titicaca, whilst La Paz is on a lower height, still high enough to cause height sickness head ake. I have been advised by local people to chew Coca leaves. I get used to drink Coca leave tea whenever. It helped: no more head ake.

This international Airport is small, compered to others. Still, one of the most important in Bolivia. Still, it's clean and their organization is ok.

Flew in on my private hot air balloon last week and they where so helpful on my approach. Wind was blowing at 58 mph from the east but my skills kept me safe. I was able to deliver my special jam flavored chilli dogs with oyster sauce and powdered mayonnaise in milk sauce. The locals love this airport.

Was inmidst of renovation when we went through. Very hectic but not in a bad way.

What an improvement! Last time we were here they were in the middle of a major remodeling project. It turned out great.
