The staff allowed us to check in very early, which was nice. The kitchen area was a bit crowded and dirty. The bed was nice and room was ok, but the bathroom was very dirty and not well maintained. If you are desperately on a budget this place can work, but there are nicer hostels in La Paz.

Such a magic place where you can meet a lot of people from different places from the world with pure good vibes and for having fun!
The hostel looks like an old citadel, it's huge and have a nice common space, full of a sort of thing for fun.

Party hostel so be aware! And if you can't stand cigarette like me, don't go there. Even the non smoking sign, everybody smookr. They have a bar in the hostel. Can be good to drink for a cheap price or anoying with the music and locals people if you want to use the bathroom. No water sometime. Looks like the bilding falling in part. Nice staff!

WiFi good, staff nice.
Room moldy, no water, disgusting toilets which you couldn't even lock, have to pay for toilet paper, terribly soft beds

Was abit sceptical coming here when I read the reviews. But it depends on the kind of traveller you are, it has its own characteristics and charm. The beds stink of musk and sweat and are lumpy as well as the pillows. The 'ensuite' is filled with bottles, why? Wifi is fast and available everywhere in the hostel. The 'party vibe' wasn't really alive but the TV is loud and can be heard from neighbouring rooms, especially when your door doesn't close properly. The toilet and shower facilities are tolerable which are shared by the club downstairs, WHY? is it owned by them? For the females, there are no toilet seats, you need to buy your own toilet roll and the water is sparse. Some social areas but no kitchen facilities. Tea and coffee for breakfast with nice bread. Only a 5 minute walk into the main plaza, in a great location and isn't so loud to hear the main street. Considering all this, $4 dollars for a night booked on hostelworld, is JUST bearable for a roof over your head. If you're looking for a relaxing stay, this isn't the place. Maybe suited more for the hippy type.

Cheap and not so bad. As a breakfast, they give mermelade, butter and bread. The staff is friendly. They had a internet problem during our stay. Wifi has always issues. If you stay in Friday and Saturday nigth, be aware of the bar downstairs makes live music until 3.00 :)
