Rented a car here to do an epic 1300km trip from Sucre to Tupiza to the south-western border of
Chile by laguna verde and then up to the Salar de Uyuni. We were able to drop off the truck in Uyuni which worked perfect for our trip.
A very professional company that takes good care of its clients and rents quality vehicles.
Expensive, but to be honest, there is no better way to explore.
You should have plenty of off-road and 4WD experience as we drove for hundreds of kilometers on some very bad roads without seeing another vehicle for hours. It would be very easy to take a wrong turn, pop a tire, and be stuck at 14,000 - 16,000 feet with very cold nights and sometimes very windy conditions.
