Such a beautiful Masjid Masha'Allah. A place of faith & solace. Everyone can go inside without considering colour, race, caste etc. That's beauty of this place.

It is a beautiful Mosque. I arrived on a rainy day so it wasn't crowded to say the least. I came back the next day after sunset to watch it light up! Also easy to get to from the bus terminal.

One of the big Mosque in Brunei. It located in Bandar town. This is a Muslim Worship place, but everyone can visit inside.
The new Taman (Park) opened near to this Mosque, is very beautiful and one of the best in Brunei.
People enjoy walking in the park, jogging, Cycling, Battery bikes and other activities here. Everything available for cheap rent.
There are many small stalls selling freshly make local food and drinks, nearby the entrance.
A must place to visit in Brunei.

Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque is an Islamic mosque located in Bandar Seri Begawan, the capital of the Sultanate of Brunei. The mosque is often considered as one of the most beautiful mosques in the Asia Pacific, it is a place of worship for the Muslim community, a major historical site and a famous tourist attraction of Brunei.

Come here modestly dressed (covered clothes), for non Muslims try to avoid any holy months or major festive seasons as it's most likely not to be opened for non Muslims during such periods. The mosque itself is abit dated, the lake is abit murky but it's an iconic place for the locals and is a symbol of the Islamic faith in Brunei. If you're wondering, yes that dome is covered in PURE GOLD!

What a spectacular Mosque! We specifically dropped by during night time as we're told it would be more beautiful compared to day time. Let the picture speaks for itself.

If Aladdin could live anywhere in the world, this would be it. The mosque is so beautiful. Unfortunately they were closed to non-Muslims during Ramadan, but I still enjoyed admiring the exterior.

This is the main mosque located in the city center. Its pretty cool but not as impressive as the photos look. There is construction around the lake so you cant walk around. The lake itself is kind of dirty also. It gets lit up at night too so you can take some pictures at night.

It is great place to visit, but only muslim fellowers are allowed to enter the place. You can enjoy taking photos from the outside and try using the water to clean your face and body for good deed.

This mosque is beautiful inside and out. As a tourist and non-Muslim, I was allowed to put on a free robe to cover my legs (I was wearing shorts) and enter inside the mosque for a look inside. No photos are allowed inside, and you are only able to stand in a specified area. But still, it's beautiful to see inside this ornate house of worship. The outside of the mosque is stunning - and perfect for photo opportunities. I took over a hundred photos from the different angles I could find. There's a "boat" you can walk over to and get some great shots of the mosque as it gets reflected in the water.

Before you go (if you want to go inside at least), check the times for visitors, because some parts of the day are exclusively for Muslims who will be having prayer inside.
