The Hobby Zone was created as a means to bring together people from different backgrounds but with a common interest: and that is the sport/hobby of R/C. Bermuda has a long extensive history with ALL things Radio/Remote Control. For years locals have enjoyed and invested in R/C vehicles of various kinds. Cars, Trucks, buggies, planes, helicopters, drones, even bikes, both electric & gas (nitro). Running a retail hobby shop in Bermuda has always been a challenge, and over the years hobby shops have come and gone. At present, The Hobby Zone, will be focusing not so much on the retail side, but more on promoting the sport OVERALL, and hosting R/C related events, Family Fun days, actual competitions, special CAMP HOBBY ZONES for kids, and helping to expose the sport to the general public, and build a support base beyond just those that are hobbyists.
