Great value for money!! I totally underestimated this place but it was better than hotels my friends stayed in. The location is great and facilities are top notch. I loved the terrace by the water and my room had a view of the water. The swimming pool is fantastic. Wifi and service in the hotel are excellent and efficient. The experience was worth it and i will totally stay here again on my next visit.

I am just here for the swimming pool! It's great. A friend of mine organized a birthday party there and it was fun. The pool is clean and spacious.
Great for children's parties, but with some adult supervision of course!

Having read other people review I decided to stay In This river view hotel.Very nice no doubt about that.we were asked for our passport, and i needed to findout why, unfortunately they couldnt give a proper reason.then this aloof lebanese guy maybe the senior manager came in from no where without any eye contacts, talking in a reckless manner saying "if no passport no check in.,its the police rule".what do you expect?if the senior manager can act in an irrational way then I won't be surprised to get the same from the other staff.the female receptionist was so so so rude, even the front office Manager who was a Lebanese as well. All I could see was just nothing but a racist act by this two managers.then couple up with the receptionist who was able to communicate little in English .what an awful, appalling, terrible set of front office workers.

Spent four seperate weekends at Hotel Du Lac to "replenish" after working long weeks further inland. It's the best price/quality ratio in the city if you're looking for good food, huge menu (Western, Lebanese, local) and clean, airconditioned rooms. The pool is clean, poolside beds are comfy and there's ice cold cocktails and beer on tap, what more could you ask for?

I was a lovely experience. The swimming was neat and there was a standby lifeguard. There is also a great view and the dishes are nice.

I had a bad experience where they tried to overcharge me once, 10 years ago. That said in earnest, I still went back in my last visit, and I think it is a high-quality hotel for Benin. The food was generally decent, but the pool and fitness center are nice, and the rooms were very well maintained, and the view from the terrace is incredibly relaxing and enjoyable. They also have large generators that kick on when the electricity goes out. If you’re looking for a western-style experience, this is a great option. It’s also not too far from the Ganhi market, which is just across the old bridge that you can see from the lake view. However, there are more convenient hotels if you want to be closer to all the embassies and governmental buildings... but rarely with a lap pool and relaxing terrace! Be careful with the waiters. They have been known to be opportunistic.

Its a boutique hotel. Its ok if you are looking for a budget hotel. Well secured and patronised by Europeans. Nice pool if i must say.

Don't stay at this hotel.. Overpriced and bed is not comfortable.. Stay at Ibis Cotonou instead.. Cheaper and more modern.
