  I've been staying at KCC since they opened, totaling six times now over four years. The staff are amazing, always willing to go the extra mile, friendly and fluent in English, French and Kirundi. When visiting Bujumbura don't bother looking anywhere else.

  Seasoned travelers will value friendly and trustworthy staff. My room was quiet with excellent aircon so I slept like the proverbial baby. Wifi is the other must have and seemed reliable. We only sampled the breakfast menu but the fruit crepes were delicious as were the omelettes.
  
  I got a sneak preview of the future development with pool and massive conference complex including ample breakout rooms, which I have found a headache to find when I have looked even in the UK: I imagine this would be a world class conference venue when complete
