Self service for premium price is a bit too much. However, the food has fresh ingredients. The ambience of the place is nice, heads up to people who dont like to dine at a mall.

Dont like their pasta or pizza. Both sauces r not good. Pasta sauce for carbonara is salty. And the pizza sauce is just wrong. If u want pizza. Head to Domino's or a more fancy one would be Pasquale reef island. Its funny cuz I used to go to Vapiano atleast once a week. Thank God I stopped. Reef is waaaaay better. Now that. I call an italian rest.

This is a below average Italian place with good marketing and gimmicks, but terrible food and experience. 2 stars because staff were great.

We ordered the spaghetti, knowing that it's really difficult to get a simple spaghetti pomodorro wrong. However, what they served up was very bitter tasting. We ate a few forks of it and awkwardly left.

"Thanks sir, see you again" Nope.

I've been here twice, ordered the same food and despite that had two completely different experiences. The Food I was served the last time I was here was not worth the price we pay.

Simple and fresh Italian food. Watch it all prepared live in front of you. Seasonal specials worth experimenting.

This is very pleasant casual Italian dining venue in the heart of the Bahrain City Centre Mall (first floor). You're given a card (like a hotel card-key) and menu when you enter and there is free-seating. There is bench-type shared seating and "regular" booth-type tables. There are several stations serving different types of food such as pasta, pizza, salads and anti-pasti. You order at the stations and touch the card to a detector at the back of the ordering till where the chef/attendant will punch in your order. The items you order are accumulated to your card and you simly hand the card back to the reception desk and settle the bill. You can customise your order (just tell them what you want or don't want) and also order drinks at at any of the stations too. There's a handy little visual pasta guide at the pasta station if you're sure about the correct name of the pasta you want. The pasta stations are the most popular with good reason - this is the best type of dish that they make. There are lots of choices of sauces and toppings and everything is prepared fresh. However, due to its popularity, it can sometimes take a while for your order to be prepared and you might need to wait. At the pizza station, they will give you a paging device after you order so you can at least wait at your table instead of just hanging around at the pasta station. While this ordering system is novel and fun for the kids, it can get a bit chaotic sometimes and if you've ordered from different stations, your food will not be ready at the some time (usually salads first, then pizza, then pasta). We found the pasta and salad dishes to be excellent and while the pizza was good, you could probably find better pizzas elsewhere. The place has a very nice and laid back atmosphere and the staff have always been friendly and helpful.

Nice quality of pasta ONLY. Quantity of pasta is very less. But taste is OK. PIZZA NOT good at all. Over expensive.
