We had a group reservation for dinner at tradervics and we agreed on a certain setup and arrangements and sadly the staff did not adhere to it. So we had an issue with our bill and the staff could not sort it out, we requested to meet the Manager, he ignored us and clamied that he is busy so we requested his email address to communicate with him to share our concerns but the staff refused to share his email and when we insisted to meet him he showed up after 30 mins and treated us in inappropriate way. We will report this incidence to the consumer protection directorate at the Ministry of industry and commerce.

My favorite place for outdoor lunch when the weather is nice. Food is ok but not so great and prices are on the high side. Unfortunately, outside seatings are limited because most were taken by the New Mexican restaurant.

I wish there is a “no star” option for this place,
I went there only once. the bouncers are so rude and racist to Saudi Arabian guys. They didn’t allow me in because I was single even that my girlfriend was already inside and they let in a lot of single white European guys. When I asked why you let them In then? the answer was “it is none of your business”. My girlfriend had to come outside to let me in but then we refused to come back. This place should never be in the Middle East if you don’t serve middle easterners. Definitely will never be there again and I always tell my friends to avoid this racist and rude place. This is the worst ever branch of Trader Vic’s. You can see that most of the bad reviews are from Arabs so go figure!

Not bad. Food tastes great but it's too expensive! Been to trader vic's in the United States and it was much cheaper, also in the United States it's a casual restaurant but here they have a dress code! You need to be dressed like your going to a gala, suits are OK. They will check what you are wearing before you enter and may refuse your entry if you don't comply with their dress code!

Came here for a meal with friends. Upon arrival, we were shown to our table and given the menu. We sat there waiting for quite a while, ready to order, but seemingly nobody felt responsible for our table, although the restaurant was not busy. After a while we had to call someone over to order.
The food itself was mediocre. We had some starters and fish, beef and duck for mains. The pancakes for the duck were stuck together and half of them ended up on the floor when we were trying to separate them. The waiter was next to our table when it happened, but he did not offer to get us new pancakes. We asked nevertheless and it took another fifteen minutes until they arrived. By that time we were already finished with the rest of the meal.
On the plus side, the Christmas decorations were nice and the toilet clean.
Altogether not a great experience and surprising as it's within the Ritz-Carlton. I wouldn't come here again, nor would I recommend it to anyone else.

This place is so vibrant. You’ll fall in love with the South American vibes. The band gets you movin even if you’re damn tired! They have amazing cocktails and great food. The staff are so prompt and friendly. Great ambiance!

I like Trader Vic's I really do but there is something strange about it. It has high standards of dress and I completely respect this. You know you are coming somewhere nice for dinner so this is not jeans, shorts, flip flops etc suitable. However I can't help but feel that it has a cheap and cheesy edge to it. I kind of feel I'm at the Yarmouth Pleasure Beach with all its naff arcades and chips shops and crazy golf. Trader's decor and the staff outfits seem to create this atmosphere. The food is reasonable but not Michelin shall we say. Anyway yes I like it despite the British beach fun fair style.

A warm welcome awaits diners. High class surroundings, impeccable atmosphere, wooden decor and exclusive company.
We enjoyed items from the Thai selection which came quickly. Tasty cocktails and wonderful Saturday evening.

Make sure you pay your bill before getting up from the table or you'll have their goons after you. Disappointing doesn't begin to explain the Trader's experience.

First of all be aware brunch has ended at this location and they no longer offer it as of last year. Secondly know that the service here extremely drawn out and slow. It took about 20-30 minutes to place my drink order after asking for a menu and about 20-30 minutes to find someone to pay. They sort of tuck you into corners and find reasons not to walk by. The food is good along with the cocktails but plan for quite a bit of down time between rounds.

Went on evening of 26 April 2013, with wife and friends. Sat on outside deck and it was perfect. The food and drinks were great. Service very slow, and after 45 minutes waiting for table service to order our meals, we stopped a passing manager and gave him our food order. Took another 40 minutes to receive the meal.
Everything was good except the table service.
The venue is perfect and could have been anywhere around the world as the atmosphere just relaxed us.

You can not go wrong with an order. Everything is well prepared and cooked. One the best places in Bahrain. Excellent for special occasions, can accommodate big crowds. You get your money's worth when it comes to quality of food, taste and service.
