  They are an institution with a clear pathway towards what we want to achieve, and the University is currently spearheading its 5-year strategic plan for 2012-2017 focusing on three key pillars - Teaching and Learning, Research, and Community Engagement, with specific goals and key performance indicators for each pillar.
  RCSI Bahrain has an important remit of its 5-year strategy to engage with the wider community as a whole, both locally and internationally, which we do at many levels. For example, we have a Mobile Diabetes Unit which generates awareness of this prevalent condition amongst children, as well as links with the Bahrain Diabetic Society and our connection with Action Ireland Trust to support their on-site charitable work in Lesotho, Africa.

  The University has come a long way since it first opened back in 2004. The campus is ever improving, and the opportunities for the students continue to grow. I am proud to have represented the University and various levels.What impresses me the most is the devotion of most staff to the students and their needs. It's exciting to see how far this University can come along.

  At the invitation of the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain has been the opening of the Medical University of Bahrain, a branch of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and it Bchehroktobr 2004 under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister, Mr. Bertie Ahern TD Prime Minister of Ireland, Medical University of Bahrain and plays a role in providing medical education and programs Medical training in the Kingdom of Bahrain in accordance with international standards for students from the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Gulf cooperation Council. Are awarded university graduates Chhah in general medicine. The university applied international standards specified by the World Federation for Medical Education, taught in the university students from the Kingdom of Bahrain, in addition to students from twenty different nationalities.
  Medical University of Bahrain is listed among the World Health Organization medical guide for universities has also been recognized recently by the Committee of Deans of medical universities in the Gulf Cooperation Council. It should also be noted here that the Ministry of Education, Kingdom of Bahrain allocates 10 missions per year to the university.
