When you talk of Bahrain, Manama is the ideal place to stay as it’s full of markets /souk, travel agencies, offices, banks, foreign exchange, restaurants all around. It’s the most happening place and in this hustle and bustle Oriental Palace Hotel has its own charm and tranquility in the atmosphere.
With large number rooms, restaurant, coffee shop, party hall etc it’s made in a palatial style with wall to wall carpets.
Spacious rooms, hot and cold shower with bath tub, breakfast, ample of car park, WiFi, business center etc comes at an affordable justified price.
The service staff is very courteous and converse well in English, Arabic, Hindi and Malayalam.
The have decent amount of Arabic, Indian, Chinese and Oriental choices in the menu. Perhaps Biryani ranks the top in the different cuisines they have.
I recommend all my fellow travelers if they are on vacations, family, business, transit etc to book this safe and good hotel.

It is good hotel, friendly staff , rooms are dated and kind of old ,service is good nothing fancy . he location of this hotel is tricky for first time visitor to get , GPS and maps sometimes lead astray it is situated in cumbersome busy in middle of market location , i will not recommend for vacation stay not a view to enjoy from this hotel. It is decent and cheap stay.

I try to stay here whenever I'm in Bahrain. Nice staff, no noise, and no hookers bothering you at 2am. Great for families especially, or people who aren't looking for nightlife.
