It's could be better if you use Google maps to navigate to this place. It is only open on Fridays from 10am to 5pm. 12-1 will be lunch break for staff.
It's encases the whole history of oil from discovery to the current trend.
Has a lot of antiques and photos to give you a clear picture about it. Very informative and has crude oil samples for display aswell.
Worth coming all this way to visit it.
Washrooms and drinking water is available here.

Well worth a quick visit to see the place where oil was first discovered. The Oil Museum is just a large room but filled with historic information, documents and pictures. It is now only open on Fridays between 10 and 5pm. The curator goes for lunch between 12 and 1pm.
After visiting the museum, you could go to the BAPCO Club for lunch. It is open to non-members.response / report this review -
