The hotel is ageing, and the rooms need to be refreshed. The carpet is dusty, so are the curtains and the mattress. The bath tub is not at all comfortable for a quick shower, and the water faucets are old and tough to manage for temperature and intensity. The amenities are boring compared to other hotels, and there's not even a shoe shine kit or a disposable toothbrush.

Although the staff is very polite and helpful, the security is annoying when you spend your day coming in and out from the Mall entrance and from the main entrance.
The rates are too high for a less than average hotel with less than average facilities and amenities.
Next time, I'll pay a small amount more and stay at the Westin, see if that's better at all .

On top of it all, the airline screwed up my transfer and I missed my flight into Bahrain, but the hotel did not reimburse or offer anything in return for the night (except breakfast) I didn't spend there, although I let them know ahead of time.
The hotel was not full, and an upgrade to a better room, or a voucher, even symbolic would've demonstrated at least some minimum level of care for the guest. It's not the value of the room, it's the gesture.
Having stayed at numerous hotels throughout Europe and the Middle East this year, I feel this has been the worst experience, glad it was only one night.

I wish them the best of luck fixing it, as they otherwise have many points in their favor, location, access to the Bahrain City Centre, and a brand that I used to trust.

I have to add to the above, that after this review, I was contacted by phone and by email, by several managerial staff who were very professional and understanding and proactive. I am adding a star just for this, and I'll give the hotel another try before I review again.
Great staff, great spirit, inspiring professionalism.

I stayed in this hotel for the weekend with the family in mid January 2018. This hotel is a great place to spend your vacation in Bahrain. It has a direct access to Bahrain city centre mall.

The room: very clean and the furniture is brand new. The interior decorations are spectacular, one actually casts a shadow of a camel. The bedding is of great quality. There are numerous power sockets which is always a con in some other hotel. The wardrobe is spacious without those pesky hangers.

The bathroom: great bathtub and a large space to move around. The bathroom actually has a glass window separating it from the rest of the room which i don’t recommend if you are staying with your buddy :).

The staff were extremely helpful and polite. One housekeeping personnel asked me out of the blue if I needed anything extra in my room. And when i said thank you he put extra bottles of water just because he saw my kids with me. The bottom line is you don’t have to ask the staff for anything.

The mini fridge did not contain any alcohol which was a plus for me because I had kids.

The only con I found is that they did not place a price list for the beverages inside the fridge which is a friendly consumer gesture.

Finally this hotel is a 5 star in my book. The price might seem a bit steep but the over all feeling when you stay here makes you forget the price.

The hotel is elegant and neat , rooms so clean of course in addition to bathrooms , location is good , being in CityCenter is an advantage in my opinion, so everything is great

But i think the prices is a little bit high for the facilities here , it doesn't deserve that much ,
Also the rooms is quite narrow and the mirror is just in the bathroom

Please be informed that the beds are not king size, not as stated in their website! Otherwise, everything is good; location, rooms and staff.

Hotel is very Excellent for living and neat and clean. Good internet speed. Hotel staff is mostly Indian but they are good. You can go to the mall because it is connected with the hotel. This place is far away and expensive from the public areas.

Outstanding hotel .. excellent location, part of the city centre mall. They have taken pride in furnishing the rooms lavishly. Check the art work in the photos.

Great location, connected directly to City Centre Mall. Though workout/exercise facility is located at the adjacent Westin Hotel.

We went to the Friday "Sweetest Brunch" at Baharat restaurant. The selection of food was phenomenal. Adding meaning to the name, the Sweetest Brunch head an enormous amount of desserts. Highly recommend.

Normally they tend to give the minimum expected from such a big franchise. However they have issues when you are traveling with Infants and have special needs for baby food. Preps are bad and the Front-desk not that helpful. Only way out for next time is report to the GM.

It is however good for business trips and couples as being in the Bahrain Mall provides easy access.
