Khalifa Al Kubra Garden is a quiet oasis of greenery in Riffa. This beautiful garden is perfectly landscaped. It attracts large crowds of tourists and locals on a regular basis. The large open space is ideal for outdoor sports like soccer. Modern playground equipment including swings and slides has been installed here. It has jogging tracks lined with trees where you can run or walk. It is an ideal venue for picnics and family outings. The fresh air coupled with lush greenery makes this place a haven of tranquilit.

Now that it requires a 300fils fee to enter, i would recommend the park to anyone who wants to relax in a clean, tidy, and not too overcrowded. Excellent for jogging or maybe to have a meal with the family.

P.S. You cant barbeque there so if you're planning to cook there or something, make sure you bring your own food :)

Khalifa al kubra garden is the most perfect place to be for families who opt for picnics with children play areas , nice and clean walk streams surrounded by ever green grass and beautiful flowers around, football courts, basketball court and handball court.

It' s a very nice park and I use to bring my kids overthere but yesterday I had a bad experience 3 "big" kids tryed to steal my son 's scooter, when I realized I called them back and they started to run away. so I had to run after them with my one year daughter in my arms! I saw a security guard standing and I asked him for help . NO REACTION !!!!! nothing !!! he didn t speak and didn t move !!!!!! So myself I started to yell "harami " at the 3 kids who were still running and they finally throw the scooter on the plants damaging the plants and the scooter !!!! and run away again ! I asked again to the security to do something about these kids but nothing, no reaction again ! it seems that he was scarred !!!! So what is the point to have security guards in this park if they are just watching what s happening without assuring our safety????? I was so upset !!!! and wasn t feeling safe .!

Plus people overthere should take care of the parc and should put their trashes in the bins !!!!! a shaaaaaame .. instead of that everybody is throwing their trashes everywhere but not in the bin!!!! So to avoid this kind of irrespectful behavior, we have to make pay fees again for a public place ??? At least people will maybe respect !!!!

they should have strict rules and strict security to avoid the chaos ! because a beautiful place and some people are ruining it !

Very nice place to walk / jog, place football, basket ball volleyball, to exercise or to just sit in the many grassed areas and have good quality time with friends and family. Plenty of slides etc for the children as well.
