This place is great for studing,, it has great lighting and comfortable study desks.

They have "the american corner" section, allows any user to access USA e-Library for free to access any source of books , articles and audiobooks.
they also provide IETLS and TOEFL sources.

It also has a copy center, internet access and study rooms.

I highly recommend this pace for research or study.

Outdated books, no community events, not a standard of a national library at all. It closes early and the staff is adamant on ignoring people by acting to be so busy with playing on their phones. I'm a librarian with 3 years of experience of working at a US public library, and the standards in this library is very low. I doubt the librarians even have an accredited library degree, but what to do, this is Bahrain! Expect low standards and you shall not be disappointed:)

I visit this library daily. If you ever get there on time, and they're open, you'll feel good because the atmosphere is great. Nice, staff, a huge chandelier in the lobby. Looks beautiful and expensive and like all things in the Gulf, fancy from the outside, and passable from the inside. Not a wide variety of books, but if you ever need a place to quietly sit down and study, this is it.
First two floors have very large book halls, and the foreign books is on the first floor.
Sh Abdulla also has a specific section containing his personal library, which you can't borrow from, you can only read there. They even had a special reading-room for his books, but since the library is empty most of the time, they converted that room into office space. I used to use it as my own personal talking room whenever I get phone calls.
The second floor contains computers, and private study rooms, as well as a bookable lecture hall. Costs vary depending on the facilities required.
No wifi, but each table has an two electric sockets and an internet cable inlet. Book halls also have internet-connected PCs to search for their book collection and browse the net.
No cafeteria, so if you intend on spending a long time there, you might get peckish, so bring along some snacks. They do provide water-coolers though.
Basement has kids section, and I just visited that place once. Very colorful place. No comment.

I like the place and the staff are nice ..the books are outdated and there isn't any serious activity for kids like drawing or Caligraphyalso for elderly people, there isn't any activity or lecture which really is helpful. The working hours are not suitable for any body ,Every time I write my suggestions and submit them but nobody cares. We have a passion to read books, and learn new skills, but you are not giving us the atmosphere that attracts us sorry to say that but because I really carethe ugly truth is better than a beautiful lie

A good library, but closes early on days of the week and closes on weekednds, and as a student, i have only 4 hours per week that i can go there ( closes at 2 pm at weekdays, and 12 pm at saturday)

The Isa Cultural Centre and one of the most prominent cultural institutions in the Kingdom of Bahrain in view as it contains multiple partitions offers a variety of cultural services. The center was built to be a cultural landmark and a cultural pioneer conceived, objectives and functions.

They are the two main center includes a conference room and supplements Center and the National Library. The amount allocated to the center of the land area of 52 thousand square meters, of which 8100 m2 of the conference room and supplements the center, and 7000 m 2 for the building of the National Library, has been allocated the remaining space parking to accommodate about 600 cars.
