The worst place for transfer ownership. The behavior of staff with expats so rude, I went to transfer car and the paper in the token printing machine was finished and I spoke to almost 7-8 employees in the counters but they dont want to listen, they busy in Facebook and ask to wait just busy in phone and talking to each other they want to replace expats . The even doesn't know work manners and no respect for expats. Very disappointing and humiliated bahavior. We expats work hard no one can do hard work like us.
Their operations starts at 7am. I visited this place to convert my UAE driving license into Bahrain. According to my experience, it was about 30mins process. You should carry 1. Passport size size Photograph 2. Existing driving license copy 3. Originals of existing license, passport and CPR.
Please note there no photo copy services available.
You have to fill up an application and complete your eye test, which are available here
Went to transfer ownership of my car. Timings are from 7 to 2:30 apparently but the lazy fellas close the counter by 1 pm!! Expect no answers, pure racism and extremely rude behavior from the creatures who work there.
Best decoration for Bahrain national day 16December 2018
Very good place..Nice professionals dealing every people..Good theory class..Good instructions from experienced hands..good customer care..good class rooms..well maintained atmosphere..
No accurate contact number 🤬
The offical phone number that mentioned in the " official website" no body answers it, even if you call 10 times in a row. This number cover the whole department and the people who control that phone are sleeping . My simple advice to the General Directorate of Traffic is fix your phone line, because people have questions and your job is to answer and to serve the people. If there is nobody to answer the main phone, why you wasting people's time in calling that number without any response!!!!
This is the traffic control department and they don't have a hot line rather than the emergency number!
Wake up people!!!!!!!!
Rude employees and they take a very long time to finish simple tasks.
Worst department in Bahrain in terms of customer service.
Although the Directorate lacks basic signage and wayfinding amenities the employees are helpful
VERY GOOD PLACE (LOVE IT )
You need to have a lot of time on your hands to come here.
It's such a fast process to get your car "examined" for the registration, and you don't even need to step out of the car!!
Be prepared for long time waiting. If this is your first visit, better ask before you go. Better, you can do some of the work online
