  Literally the worst Italian food that I have tried in Bahrain ! First came in and the lights were Off apparently the staff take a nap during day time ! When asked to turn on the light , the staff asked is it because I can’t read ( No , but I want to see my colleagues and not coming to a haunted house)! The chef isn’t an executive Italian chef as it said , they were 3 none of whom the chef was Italian or seemed to have experience with Italian food ! And the waiter had a way of classifying food based on the price “ I recommend you take the 35 Bd steak” and quality was horrendous ! NOT EDIBLE ! Warning : as a genuine advice from a traumatized person don’t risk getting gastroenteritis and go check any other Italian restaurant in the island or come to my house ( chances are of me preparing a better meal than they did) to give them some credit the water didn’t taste bad ; but having tried various selections of foods ; none were edible

  Nice place and nice staff. If you like sweet pizza sauce this place is where you’ll want your pizza made. I wasn’t expecting it and nearly wretched. The guy took t back and tried again - but still the sauce is sweet- and the dough has a hint high handed of sugar as well. So just FYI. And for such a place I would’ve expected some nice ambient jazz...classical...nice classic Arab music - nope- pop hits remixed. I put in my headphones. Overall, nice.

  Pasta selection could be improved, service is good. They need to improve their knowledge and skills on wine and cocktails. Great space- both outdoor garden and lounge.

  When we stepped into the restaurant for lunch, I had a good impression of the overall atmosphere (accommodating staff, cleanliness and attractive decor/design).
  
  While deciding to order what to eat, we were served an assortment of exotic and tasty bread along with olive paste, which had a nice flavour.
  
  The main course meals were really good, but for the price I was expecting
  better (I had much better "italian restaurant" experiences for slightly lower prices). The Diavola pizza was unpleasantly oily, for example.
  
  From my personal experience, the service was not up to par. Overall, the staff seemed to be unhappy and uncomfortable. However, there was this one professional Indian waiter who had a nice personality. I felt uncomfortable with the presence of the female waitress. She gave this unusual creepy vibe.
  
  After leaving the restaurant, I came to the conclusion that the interior was badly designed and made me feel inferior. They had a private lounge for drinking, which was put on a pedestal. The walls were made of glass, and the lounge is strategically positioned in the center, so that the VIP members are exposed to the entire world. Not recommended for family outings.
  
  The place was spacious and had a high ceiling, and there was no one around. It felt strangely empty. Although there was good music/songs in the background, it couldn't help to fill in the emptiness.
  
  Upon receiving the bill, we were surprised by the amount that we had to pay. There was a mandatory 10% service charge as well as an additional 10% government levy tax, which is unheard of and also unusual. The nearby restaurants do not charge 10% government levy tax, let alone the "mandatory" service charge.
  
  Initially, we had decided to dine in this restaurant, as this restaurant shares the same name with another very good restaurant. The restaurant we dined in is called "Cafe Italia", whereas the other good restaurant is "Pizzeria Cafe Italia". We thought that this restaurant is another branch of the famous Pizzeria Cafe Italia. We were however wrong and ended up disappointed with the experience.

  The service is incredibly amazing, the servers asked almost every 5-10minites if all was ok and anything needed, took good care, order was super quick everyone had a genuine nice smile and personality

  Very friendly staff and were very accomodating to allergies! Selection of food is not very adventerous, but it is all quite tasty. Atmosphere also is great.
