This is an awesome place to hangout with your family and friends. A very rare opportunity to touch and feed animals that is seldom allowed in other zoos. Dont mind spending few extra BDs to take a horse ride, pet dogs and a python surprise. There are few antique cars hidden within the campus which is another attraction.

The place is nice for the kids to spend around an hour. However i didn't like that the animals are kept in cages and they have no place to run

A Private zoo, cannot be called a zoo exactly.
Good for kids, but for one time visit.
Not very clean as plenty of animals are packed in a small area.
You get to see hare, goat, cow, hen, emu, turkey, ostrich, deer, dog, horse, camel, macau, toucan and python here. Probably few more animals which I might have missed.
Overall an average one time tour for your kids.

Let us be honest! Very Good!! (considering the weather). If you are in Bahrain, you MUST VISIT!

Try to be early or late {avoid noon - too hot}. A family / children place - plan for 5 hours, preferably. Ample photographic scope. (Water is to be carried & head cap also can help). Be prepared to walk.

Government can do much better job - but, appreciate the efforts.
    Climate limits the species..

This zoo is a disgrace. The animals are abused. Underfed and living conditions are completely unnacceptable. The government should shut this business down. I would never ever reccomend anyone ever stepping foot in this place unless it is to rescue them. I pray everyday that these animals will be saved!

    Small zoo.
I never imagined a mini zoo ever existed.
1 BHD is price of admission. 500 fils for a small bag of animals food to feed the animals.
1 BHD for any other activities.
It's good fun for kid's and it won't take too much time to finish the tour.

Animals need to get more care. Visitors need to be more careful with dogs

Ok, there is alot of animals, but is this how you treat an animal? Would you like to live in a cage that is 10 times smaller than your habitat? I dont think so, maybe i dont like it i dont about you.

Kids can walk the dogs and play with them, and if they have puppies at the time of your visit the kids will enjoy that a lot
it's not very big, you can spend around two hours
don't visit in summer, few shaded areas available

My daughter loves to go and see the animals here. She especially likes to ride the horse. They have many animals and birds. They also have several old classic cars to see spread around the zoo but they are covered most of the time.
