Amazing project to preserve cultural arts and crafts of Bahrain.

A lovely tourist spot where you can see professional handicrafters at work. Most speak English and are friendly and helpful if you have questions about the crafts.

It was fantastic! All the staff were so informative. We can metal works, looming, boat and chest making as well as pottery making. A lovely look back I to Bahrains past.

It's a limited place to see how crafts are made. The timings are restrictive as they are open only on working days and the arts works are also limited. You can see the whole place in 30 - 40 minutes. Nothing much to explore.

The Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain interesting direction towards the advancement of these industries through appropriate policies are working to provide the necessary mechanisms in the circumstances and is working on the other hand, to mobilize resources and efforts and directing them in accordance with the intended goals of them.
In this context, the center for craftsmen mean the revival of traditional crafts that are part of the country's history and heritage, and which has already been opened by His Royal Highness Alomirkhalifh bin Salman Al Khalifa, Prime Minister established in 1991 in the village of Aljasra.
Under the roof of this center, which is located in the village of Aljasra manufacturer Bahraini practiced his craft stick to Balath and tools that he inherited, Valenjar still sticking Bozmih and Mncharh in the industry for some beautiful pieces of furniture, boxes and carved vessels of wood, and the tissues runs manual Bnolh to make tissue exquisite embroidery, maker of pottery used his hands and legs to manage his machine that makes the incense burners and pots and glazed pots, all of this is mixed with a modern spirit in modern designs which are designed with the latest computer programs used by the literal to develop his craft to suit the spirit of the age and requirements.
The main objectives of the establishment of this center is to work on reviving industries, handicrafts and development through the creation of a new generation of craftsmen trained, and create new job opportunities for them, in addition to promoting the tourism industry in the Kingdom through the collection and handicrafts industries practiced in the villages of the Kingdom and its cities in one place to facilitate the visitor and tourist to see them and defining aspects of creativity and the beauty of it, and most importantly, to build bridges of communication between the generations, and thus preserve the cultural identity of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The marketing element has been the adoption center latest marketing methods, most notably e-marketing, opening points of sale in the most important tourist destinations in the kingdom and to participate in exhibitions and forums specialized handicrafts locally, regionally and internationally.response / report this review -
