  Very nice rooms, and excellent restaurant. The trout was very good, and the shopska salad became something we sought out at many subsequent meals (you can say "shopska", and speak no other Bulgarian, and get a good, reliable meal). A moderate walk to the Rila Monastery (about 3.5km). There are walking trails in the woods nearby. Note that, at least in 2014, taxis would not call out to the hotel, as it is so far from town, but a regular minibus stops right at the hotel and goes in to town where you can catch an intercity bus.

  We used the restaurant here, so no opinion about the accommodation. Food was fantastic (shopska salad was the best in my life), grilled traut was also amazing. Price are OK. Lunch for 2 kids 3 adults cost 35 eur. Card is accepted, no WIFI

  Good hotel with good rooms and fantastic Bulgarian food. Fast service. Located in the mountains near Rila Monastery.
