An incredible place. Probably my favourite in Bulgaria. A strip of beautiful beach with river on one side and sea on the other. The sea water is crystal clear and great for swimming and snorkeling. There is a shack on the beach with rents kayaks and windsurfing boards and has a catamaran which they take you out for rides on. You can travel right up the river on kayaks or go out on the sea. There are also a couple of places to get drinks and food. Despite the activity it's still a pretty natural beach without too much commercialisation

Amazing place. Magical sights, very few places in the world can be proud worth such a delicate environment and a variety of flora and fauna. Over 300 species of birds call it home and pass through it every year.

It's the only river lagoon in Bulgaria, the view from the cliffs is amazing and great for photos. The river lagoon part is very shallow , but quite cold even in the summer. The sea is quite deep and if you decide to venture further than a few meters it is only recommended if you are a more experienced swimmer. There are kanoes and windsurfs for rent on the beach.

Nice beach connected to a delta of a river, where you can enjoy nature and if you are lucky, you can see there turtles from a very short distance.

The most fascinating beach I've ever been - clean, refreshing deep sea water and on the other side of the beach there is calm clean river water for the ones who prefer to enjoy the beach with their kids.
If you are extreme sports person, you can learn to ride the waves using the services of the wind surf school on the beach.response / report this review -

It's a nice place, with a lot of nature Green and clean around. The beaches have "raw" sand but overall is perfect place for this one whom wants please and quiet vacation on Bulgarian southern point.

Don't pass on a very interesting boat trip up the river - 5 kilometers upstream and then back to the estuary for 90 minutes that you will fully enjoy for the unique vegetation and fauna some of which you won't find anywhere else. Bring your camera and a repellent.
