A must see if you are in the North East part of Bulgaria. It is an ancient UNESCO site. A little out of the way but still a worthwhile side trip

awesome tomb but there is a lot of development still to happen with the overall site. Hopefully the eu continue to fund the archeological work as well as develop the site.

Traveled two hours, to find closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Signs from main road would save unnecessary wasted journey

Never miss a place like it! Perfect staff services. The guides speaks English, German and Russian foreign languages.

Terribly long wait on a hot summer day. There are no English signs for the ticket office or tour booking office. Spent half an hour walking around the tombs and then learned that a tour guide was needed to get in the tomb. The flags mark the tomb entrance but not the place where a tour could be booked. Then had to wait for several Bulgarian tours to take place before my tour guide could start. It was difficult to figure out how those Bulgarian tours were in the queue in front of me, the bottom line is, I waited for more than an hour before I could enter the tomb.

Amazing, unexpected, unique, mysterious you may call this place with all these words, and this UNESCO site is definately worth visiting! The local guides are very knowledgeable, their organisation for the groups formed is very good and clear, the place has offers big enough parking and facilities. May be signposting can be better.
