A desert in Europe? Yes - here in Bulgaria you can see a real desert with really interesting naturally made from stone columns. You have to pay 3 BGN to enter the main part. Easy reachable by car - 2 minutes from the highway.

It's a quiet place without a lot of traffic, which makes it perfect if you want to escape the crowded nature of the city. The view is amazing and there is a lot to see. The place is brimming with a positive vibe and is just waiting for you to experience it.

Doesn't look like much from the road but once you get past the turn, you become surrounded by the strange rock formations created millions of years ago. Really interesting to explore the entire site. Best part was it's just two minutes off the highway.

Definitely a must see if by any chance u are passing by. One of the few natural desserts in Europe. Make sure to bring your stamp book for the 100 tourist destinations in Bulgaria.

Magical place! Real natural phenomenon. It's near the city of Varna, has a parking place. There is an option to hire a guide as well that can explain in details the history and magic of this beautiful place.
