Beautiful walk. steep climb of about 30-45 minutes, but there are a lot of benches on the way. Can get crowded at Sundays, try to arrive early before it gets crowded.

Don't know why they call these "Pyramids", but it's a nice little site with some interesting natural rock (sand) formations.
If you're planning a visit to the Rila Monastery, plan extra 2 hours for this site, if you're interested. (There's a bit of a steep hike, going up to the rock formations, so come with the right shoes, and bring water.)response / report this review -

Its really hot here! do not do this in the middle of the day without water. Its a relatively steep climb at times and I wouldn't say its completely safe once you get to the top. But its a lovely view.
