Even the non helpful & very unpleasant staff + the average food quality restaurant couldn't put a shadow over the perfect combo between our unique, magical location, the beautiful nature around, the mineral pool, and ofc my a long waited dream finally to cuddle on a rug in front of the burning fireplace with my beloved soulmate - all this made our whole experience a lot more special & memorable then I have ever imagined before!! :)
Amazing wine tour guide, good restaurant and stunning views and atmosphere. The girl at the reception that worked on the 12th at night (8pm) was extremely rude and unattentive. We had to wait so long for our voucher to be sorted out and she was giving a bit of attitude when we wanted to buy wine from the shop and other souvenirs.
I visited with guests from South Tyrol. We spent relaxing three days. I recommend the healing mineral water, massage, spa , bicycle tour to the Thracian Temple, dinner in the vyneguard, vine tour. The beakfast is super tasty and abundant. Friendly service. Excellent fir family's vacation.
Beautiful vineyards located outside Plovdiv. Can go on a tour of the facility to see how the wine is made followed by a tasting of their selected vintages. The rooms are very spacious and you are served a traditional Bulgarian breakfast. Highly recommend the Restaurant for dinner.
The winery is absolutely Fanta and their terroir wine is absolutely incredible (if you enjoy red wine of course). If you're staying in the hotel don't miss the chance to go for a wine tasting- you won't regret it.
Lovely location in wild Bulgarian landscape, with impressive thracian archeological sites to visit nearby. The Complex provides nice rooms, busy restaurant with a large variety of traditional Bulgarian food and spa with hot mineral water pools. A good opportunity to try some local wines (dry white, rose and red) and traditional grappa which is called Rakia and sold at reception shop in artistically shaped bottles. A pleasant experience.
More accurate would be 4.3 stars for me because it was a fantastic way to spend two days: saunas, hot tubs, good wine, and overall a cozy winter getaway. Staff was friendly and helpful, and the accommodations were warm, very clean, large, and comfortable.
Note that Bulgarian language skills would be really helpful (I went with wife's Bulgarian family and didn't interact with staff).
Spa had lots of space and was overall good quality, but just not quite reaching 5 star. I felt the same about the food in the main restaurant, but the second "Italian" style one was top level. The overall feel was Balkan traditional for restaurants and the grounds, where you'd find the occasional peacock roaming around.
The surrounding nature was also serene and a joy to walk/drive around (but not the local suburb/residential area).
Wonderful place with very polite personnel, tasty food, great wine! Warm mineral water pools both outside and inside, SPA procedures, small zoo for the kids and last but not least guided wine tours. Ideal for family vacation.
Awesome place, ambience, good food and fantastic wine. Rooms are spacious on the ground floor. Not sure about upstairs.
The walls are thin so prepare to hear the loud snorers.
Two type of pool, indoor span luxury mineral water or outside, which the kids love.
