One of the largest parks in Sofia. It offers walks and rest / play areas, clean air and cafes
Sofia's best Park so far. It's the biggest, but also the cosiest, the place for most outdoor festivals.
Modern designed working space. Good location for meeting friends or coffee break business talks. The library is always having latest editions of books if you are looking for a nice present too.
One of the biggest parks in Sofia. Good place for a walk, jogging, relaxing or outside sports. Can be a bit crowded in the weekends. Children playgrounds, attractions, cafes and restaurants are available on several locations, as well as dog-only zone.
This a great park with lots to do, you can hire bikes here (car-type bikes for families), there is a train that goes through the park (on wheels not track), plenty for children to do - playgrounds, bouncy castles and amusements, there are restaurants in the park and plenty of paths to follow around the park for whatever kind of walk you want to do. Great for relaxing at any time and also to find something to do, as especially through the summer there are lots of events going on.
Nice large park of Sofia, maintained pretty well. Amazing view at Vitosha mountain. Lots of events happening and attractions available. Some food kiosks could be removed though, their number needs to be reduced to have the feeling of real park, and not an open space restaurant.
The best park in Sofia. It is big and offers variety of landscapes, with commercial corners and some wild places, where you can forget you are in a million++ city. Perfect for sport and a relaxing time. Good to spend time with friends there.
There was this time some years ago when I really love this park. Quite easy accessible from downtown and south parts of Sofia, you could go there with your dog, bunch of friends and beers and have your calm time. It's not the case, at least not in the weekends. So preferably go there during the working week or try to find the the last remaining quiet places like the meadows close to Henrik Ibsen Blvd.
Big park, nice place, different landscapes, but really overcrowded in weekends. A lot of "attractions" for kids which are a little bit more expensive than usually. You can ride bikes and have a good time during the week, but in weekends it is a nightmare if you look for quite place.
Very good city park. The central areas are a bit crowded in the weekends but you can always find quiet spots if you wish. Good variety of sport and entertainments. And great nature. There is a river running through the park, a few beautiful lakes, little hills with good viewpoints. Perfect balance!
