Nice Jewish temple but the entry is paid so take that into account.
Ok but not realy worth the entrance Fee.
Ticket price is 3 BGN, your visit will last any time from 30 minutes to 1 hr, to take in the beautiful ornaments. Worth seeing.
Beautiful old synagogue with very special architecture. Also look down at the floors and up at the stars on the ceilings
Ok. But it is weird that it is the only religious institution that you have to an entrance fee. When asked about it, the doorman abruptly responded that he doesn't care what the other religious institutions do. Weird vibe
The synagogue is a very large and impressive building, standing out of its environment, with large stars of david installed on its roof top.
Inside one discovers a really beautiful Sephardic synagogue, with large chandaliers, beautiful altar, colorfull wall paintings, more.
I was welcomed by very friendly locals, who showed me around and explained the history of the plavce, including the heart-warming story of the rescue of Bulgaroian Jewery by the Bulgarian people and their curageous king, Boris the 3rd.
Don't miss it!
Not the most impressive synagogue. It's been recently restored and the floor tiling is like the original one from Venetia.
Suppose to be free, but i had to pay 2 levas to visit the temple
Beautiful and lovingly restored to it's pre ww2 glory.
An important synagogues in Europe beautiful architectural
Beautiful synagogue.
Very impressive architecture and design.
The entrance cost 2 Leva.
Very nice building, beautifully restored. The Jewish museum is adjacent to it but was not open when I visited due to work being done.
I'm guessing the people who only rated this gem with one star are the same types who are busy spray painting swastikas around the otherwise pretty city.
