PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU BOOK. I do not usually write any review, but I feel like I should warn people especially if you're a first timer at bansko.
I am a beginner level snowboarder that don't know too much about snowboarding. Me and my girlfriend Paid for the "best equipment" and also paid extra "VIP supplement" to use the newest season boards and boots because of hygienic reasons.
When we got there the staff there were friendly, however the boots they gave us were OLD and STANKY, I showed them my reservation and they assured me that my equipments are the newest season, which was obviously FALSE. They were also not of any good brands and not meant for the current terrain conditions of the bansko mountain which made it very difficult to ski.
The ski and snowboard that were given to us were not new at all, it is completely scrapped and not been serviced at all. Interesting fact, the price I paid to rent it is actually only slightly less than half the price of a completely new "Lamar" brand snowboard.
Most equipment seen in the store are basic entry level budget equipments that should not be advertised as premium equipment.
The staff just gave us whatever that was available or deem to fit, people that didn't pay extra actually got better equipment than us when we approached to ask (ROSSIGNOL). This is the definition of a RIP OFF.
After looking around the local town, for the similar price range I paid for, I could've had MUCH MUCH MUCH BETTER equipment and service. The only reason other shops in town are not on TripAdvisor is probably because of bad advertising, but god does traventuria did a good job to get such "good" reviews.
After talking to a helpful instructor on the slopes, turns out that Snowboard size were too big for me, it was not waxed.
THE WORSE, is that the binding strap was screwed on loosely, one foot actually unscrewed during riding causing me to plummet down a red run, and ended up snowboarding 3 hours with only one binding strap.
bansko is a great place with great customer services, but avoid this centre.response / report this review -

Very good service, airport transfers were seemless and not trouble. However the ski's we renteded seemed to be quite short and were pretty blunt, also the shop is a few mins walk from the bottom of the gondola.

I had a individual ski lesson, advanced level. Great experience, profesional instructor (Vladimir); helped me to corect somme things.
