Very nice and not too costly. The live acoustic show was very good. Alcohol pinpong games also available and popular.
This basement bar plays rock music and feels a bit like something out of a gangster film, the way I am searched by the bouncer and asked if I've got a reservation as the lady looks on her list of less than 10 names, and I am 'squeezed' into my seat at the bar. The place is virtually empty the entire hour and a half I am there. Objectively this place is good - but I'm not personally a massive fan. Good value drinks, good staff, clean and somewhat classy.
Great rock music by the DJ. Fantastic bartenders. Wonderful drinks. Fun rockkaraoke.
Their waiters have no clue who paid the bill. They made me pay again (3 euros!) because they can not track the payments, or maybe they just have bad intentions. Music good, waiters really really bad. Stay away!
Update 3 days later : As a response to the owner's response below : I think the waitress confused us with someone else / another table and asked us to pay again for what we had paid before. It was the two of us, hence "3 euros" (so the owner is right that beer is 1.5 euros). We paid it in order to avoid a scene and because the amount was nothing worth spoiling our night any further. I am updating it to 3-stars as I believe it was a mistake of 1 person and not the establishment.
Usually more men inside than women but cool music is playing although the DJ could vary the playlists a bit more from time to time. Recommended for everyone with a passion for (hard) rock music.
I don't know why do they pay for DJ as if as he was playing the same playlist over and over with the same old played songs. Full of teenage boys who wanna have fun with the few teenage gorgeous chicks the owner cleverly placed to "do the chick job".. The place is fine and large, good beer and prices.
In the past few years ago this place was incredible! Right now is just another peace of crap on the market! I'm not impressed!
Maybe it's just not my scene, but it has all the familiar symptoms of a club (bottles of Johnny Walker Red and Coke on the tables, every place reserved, no one standing) or a strip club (multiple girls greeting you at the entrance, nearly only men inside), but it seemed instead to just be done up like a electronic/top 40 club, just with rock music instead. Maybe it wouldn't have been bad, but we didn't stay to find out-grabbed an awkward standing drink and left.
One of the very few rock bars is Sofia. What I like most here is that they are very strict about non-smoking rules inside. Nice selection of rock and metal music.
