One of the best archaeological sites i've ever visited, though you should look for informations about the site before going there. Nice view from the top, not very crowded and if you have luck, you can visit an ongoing excavation. I loved it.

Amazing place! Exquisite views with such historic relevance. Must see if you're staying near by. For people complaining about the lack of signs. You can easily read up yourself, but even if not the views and the fact that people were able to make these structures so long ago is fascinating.

Dissapointed because of the lack of signs and descriptions. Even if u buy a map u need a lot of imagination to find out what u see. In my opinion, instead of spending the EU money for the fancy path they should have built a decent WC.

Very beautiful and well kept Thracian city in the heart of Eastern Rhodopes. Ticket prices - 6 levs for adults. 2 levs for students and retirees.

Truly spectacular ancient Thracian site. On a par with, if not better than, Mycenae in Greece. The 360 degrees view at the top is stunning. You need a car to get there. In the summer, go late afternoon to avoid the heat. Souvenir shops at the entrance sell water and hats.

The place is wonderful for people who like archeology and ancient culture. But there are no maps or any signs to show you what are you seeing, and if you are not aware of the history of the place you won't be able to understand the ancient ruins. The price is not worth, because there is no free toilet or places for rest. The parking is paid as well. There is one water spring, but is situated at the beginning of the tour, so you should bring bottles and hats. I wouldn't go back there in the summer. There is the smallest vegetable garden in the world, as you can see from the photos :)
