Fancy new museum but the presentation of the gold treasure (a replica) was a bit boring and I've expected more to come.
Very good Museum much improved recently. Formerly there were some quite horrific photos of the attrocities carried out by the Ottomans on the locals during the uprisings. They have been removed, which is a pity as they serve to remind the barbaric nature of their occupation.
The exhibition with the treasure is good. All the rest is not something exceptional. The park in the museum is very good. The entrance fee is too high.
Probably the best museum complex in Bulgaria. Modern and well kept, there's so much to see and experience!
Interesting and well-made. The rooms and artefacts are ordered and combined with idea and knowledge and it is really easy to learn a piece of the history while entertaining in the same time. Loved the gold excibition.
The Panagyurishte treasure is awesome!
Go and check the famous treasure of Panagyurishte.
The entry is for The Dudekova house and the museum.
The Dudekova house is really nicely made - typical Bulgarian house from the end of 18th beginning of the 19th century. The museum itself is not that really interesting and unfortunately the gold treasure is a replica - the original one is in Sofia history museum.
