I found the staff incredibly friendly and helpful. The vehicle was clean and reliable. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this company.

Avoid them (and probably any company related to same people) as a plaque! They claim on first page and while on booking form plus FAQ that cancellation is FREE. Please have your attention here - the online book form + FAQ claims multiple times that cancellation is free if done 24 hrs before pick up date ! So I had to cancel 17 days before the car pick up date - but no refund to the credit card from them.
In their Terms And Conditions the claim or rather suggestion is that you can get refund - minus administration or bank fee. The excuse of not refunding anything to your credit card is that a customer can use that amount in next booking with them (of course - if that customer is not in sound state of mind - after reading the blatant lies on 'free' cancellation claims and likes to be robbed )response / report this review -

We booked a car with the recommendation go the Fulbright Commission in Bulgaria. Previous people had rented from them and had an okay experience plus they were middle of the road price wise. We had a terrible experience. They make you pay a portion online with a credit card, then they want hundreds of dollars in cash when you pick up the car and then they want your credit card number again (written by hand on a paper by the person who dropped it off, not wearing official clothing) they also took our US drivers license, international license, and passport number (this was uncomfortable as we already provide the information online, especially the credit card number). They also would not let us cancel when we found out we had to pay cash and credit card. The service was late for pickup and it was unmarked as to where to meet them. We were coming from the city not by plane so they said it was our fault they were late because we didn't provide a flight number. The car was missing a quarter tank of gas but we were told to deliver it full of gas, they did not tell us what gas to get. Then when we returned it the company representatives were at the gas station near the airport and watched as we were ripped off by the gas station. We only needed to fill the car 1/4 tank and the gas station charged us for about 3/4 tank while the representative talked to us (almost felt like a set up against the tourists) and then when we asked at the airport about it they said nothing and drove the car away. Overall a horrible experience and I do not recommend them to anyone.

First, thank you for the excellent service team Motoroads! I've ordered my car online (wanted automatic transmission, GPS, and a child car seat)- everything was there waiting for me (us). Car was delivered exactly on time and the paperwork took 2-3 minutes. I had the car for 5 days and did not have any problems. It was a smooth ride and my family and I were able to enjoy our limited time side seeing Bulgaria. Thank you again! I highly recommend your service and hope to use it again in my future visits

The delivery of the car was prompt and on the time that we had arranged even though we had to change time twice and place of delivery (thanks to the airline),The car was very clean and tidy we was given all the information that we needed about the car and insurance etc, The representative was very good and help full concerning with every thing about the car and area,And on the return of the car they were prompt and on time.
Thank you for being so help full and we will be using you again next year.Again this year (2017) we have used motoroads and again 5 star service on time clean tidy car.What more can you ask many thanks.response / report this review -

Fantastic service, we hired touring bikes for a cycle tour and not only did we have excellent bikes Dimitri also recommended alternatives to our route which turned out to be a great addition to our trip. He offered to assist us if we got lost over the phone and accommodated last minute changes in our plans. Thank you for a great service, would highly recommend.

Excellent service. Car delivered to hotel and then I returned to the airport - changed my plans and they were more than happy to accommodate. Good, clean, reliable car and value for money. All staff spoke good English so language not a barrier. Will definitely use again.

Great service. I have been with Motoroads for the last 5 years. I have two trips to BG every year. One in February half term and the other in the Summer. So far no issues with the car or the administration.

I'm renting a car for a second time. It was Mazda 3 - very clean and nice car. We picked the car from Sofia Airport - very easy and simple. Child seats were provided free of charge. A snow chains and ski rack - at very small charge. It's always a pleasure dealing with the staff of Motoroads. Highly recommended! We are looking forward to our next trip to Bulgaria!

Brilliant service - the car was new, clean and very economical. We've been met by a very friendly and polite company representative at the airport who gave us the keys. Everything in the contract was clear, there were no hidden costs and on reasonable price.. We spent a 7 day trip around Bulgaria and can say the car was absolutely spot on. Definitely will use the service again. Thank You!!!

Are all these reviews fake? Had the worst car rental experience with this company ever. The car was not cleaned, the gas tank was only half full (& they wanted to charge me because I only returned it half full), the car was much smaller than what I reserved (& paid for), I was not given the Green Card (EU insurance) that I paid for (they had to come back and deliver it to me), they charged my credit card then later said I had to pay cash, the battery shorted when I tried to turn on the fog lights or use one of the cigarette adapters, the tires were low & it leaked oil (I had to add 1L oil after 2 weeks), and they charged me for damage even though I paid for the insurance (and they wouldn't give me the quote for the repairs). Stay away from these guys & pick a reputable company instead. Not worth the hassle!

I would like to say a big thank you for the excellent service. The driver was waiting for us and as it was a very hot day, he even supplied a bottle of water which was much appreciated. He also helped with the luggage which is not always the case here in England. The trip down to Bansko was a pleasure and though he could speak little English, we got on fine with a few informative though brief comments. On the return, he was on time and gave a good trip back as well as diverting through Sofia to show some of the sights. More than happy with all arrangements and will be using your services again next time we have to go down to Bansko which hopefully will not be too long before. Well done.
