Terrible place. In the menu the beer is 500 ml. When the beer came it was in 400 ml. glass filled to the mark. When we asked the waitress she told us it was always like this. An t this PUB is old. There ware many things like this. I would recommend any other PUB.

The athmosphere is nice, it is a pleasant place overall but the customer service is absolutely terrible. My experience with the staff has never been positive so I won't be coming back.

Typical eastern Europe Irish bar, was asked to pay with something smaller than 10 lev, and was quiet when I was inside at 18:00.

Nice Irish bar with a decent selection of whiskey. Experience completely marred by the inexplicably hostile response from the waitress when asked if they accepted card payments or just cash. She suddenly stormed off without taking our food order, slammed the pints down when she returned, and threw a further strop when we then tried to order food. We were absolutely baffled by her behaviour, after what we thought was a reasonable question to ask. After she threw the receipt at me, we left without finishing. Absolutely horrible experience in what seemed to be a fairly authentic pub.

JJ Murphys is the Irish pub of the city so this is the place if you're craving some Guinness. This is another great place to watch sports as there are lots of TV's and plenty of room. You'll hear more English spoken here than in most places but it didn't feel overly touristy.

This will be a haven for me as I will spending a lot of time in Sofia over the next few years. Looking forward to meeting some of the locals and expats. Enjoyed my visits in December. The local beer is good and the bar food too. Just off Vitosha Boulevard.
