Lovely and friendly staff! They have a nice terrace with a beautiful view over the cozy town, there you will have the brekkie pancakes, melon, roasted bread with cheese, also you have yogurt and musli. As well the terrace is a great place to socialize and talk with fellow backpackers!
10 euros per night in a dorm is super cheap for such a great place! :)response / report this review -

Amazing neighbourhood, gorgeous view towards the whole of Tsarevets, right in the heart of the Old City and, of course, extremely friendly personnel. Definitely a must visit place.

Surreal experience, at one point in our first evening there the staff just got up and started swinging round glowing orbs on the end of ropes in time to the music that was playing Apparently a performance art originating from New Zealand called 'Poi'. The hostel has superb views over Veliko Tarnovo, and is in a great position for exploring the old town.

there is a lovely outdoor terrace to sit around and really a good place to meet people. The owner and staff are very helpful and friendly. They always organize some activities like picnic, bbq party. On my day of arrival, I want to join the UFO(buzludzha) tour but they did not operate it for some time as their car was broken. However they try to help to group individual backpacker to form a group and helped us to rent a car to do the trip. It is cheaper and more flexible. The kitchen is well equipped and the bed is comfortable. The breakfast is simple with bread, jam, butter but included in the price. As It is at high location, you have a really good view over the castle and you can even see the light show around 9pm if u r lucky.
you really need a small steep hike (5 min) up to this hostel because it is located on the higher level of the old town as you normally are dropped off from the old town centre no matter you take bus or taxi.response / report this review -
