Rebuild old communistic building clean and redesigned comfortable beds, you can still feel comunism inside.
But for traveling it's good place big rooms swimming pool nice shopping stores in center of town.

The hotel is relatively nice for the category: somewhere between 3/4 stars.
- rooms and the bathroom are clean
- tv available, LCD 32'
- quiet
- no bed bugs
- very nice wallpaper, looks and feels like silky

CONS
- the breakfast was modest variety but enough: tomato and cucumber, horrible olives, limited selection of salami, oats, orange juice only, water, ness coffee, cream
- receptions are not smiling, but are formal
- nice location, "happy" restaurant chain nearby, supermarket also
- 10 min walk from the bus stop
- save location

I wouldn't recommend this place to stay in Plovdiv. Ofcource it has good location, but the furniture in the rooms is old and you can see the low maintenance everywhere in the hotel. There are many other better places to stay in Plovdiv for the same price. The staff is polite but this is not enough.
For convention purposes the hotel is good but I would not recommend it for other activities.

It was nice and modern. Breakfast was wonderful. However the house keepers would come in even if I had the "do no disturb" sign hanging on the door and also if I wasn't in there they would rummage through my personal things.

Bed bugs in my room, i got eaten alive, have to ware swim caps in the pool, carpets look and feel dirty. They water down the juice at breakfast. ( though the breakfast was good) elevator will not take you to the ground floor without a key so if you leave your key in your room you are taking the stairs. Club under the hotel is over priced and empty though the staff down there was very nice.
